Hi-Tec Japan has launched a new editorial titled “Shibuya Crossover,” highlighting its Aoraki WP sneaker and Kawaz Flex sandal.
The editorial channels the Hi-Tec’s fashion-meets-function designs through a selection of minimalist and urban photographs. The clean backdrops allow the two pairs to stand out, showcasing the bold styling used to highlight the Kawaz Flex’s detailing and the bright colors and technical design of the Aoraki WP.
Hi-Tec has captured the two pairs on a journey from Yoyogi Uehara Subway Station to central Shibuya as a nod to their Japanese-inspired aesthetic and hard-wearing abilities. The lookbook also features the Hi-Tec Raft sandal and a selection of garments from the brand, such as a standout dusty pink workwear-inspired bomber jacket and a grey technical Harrington.
The Aoraki WP sneaker features an ultra-grippy sole unit that is paired to a moisture-permeable, waterproof technology-equipped “Dri-Hi Light” upper. The Kawaz Flex is a color-blocked sandal that features a single elastic strap across the front and blends comfort with practicality.
Take a look at both pairs in the “Shibuya Crossover” editorial in the gallery above and pick them up from Hi-Tec outposts in Japan. A wider global release will be announced soon alongside the Hi-Tec HTS74Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
